Many among us feel that they are just too cool for a list, like it is something only elderly people do, maybe boring people too, at best. In fact, making a plan and a list that will outline this plan for you while you are shopping is one of the smartest things you can do for your grocery runs.
For one, you need to know what you have and what you don’t around the house. There is really no point in restocking on potatoes that you have an Ohio’s worth lying around your pantry already. Also, you need to plan out your menu for the next few days (as many as will pass before the next shopping trip).
This may sound like a chore, but if you don’t plan ahead, you will end up with a fridge full of baby carrots and pumpkins three days from your last shopping, scratching your head and wondering what went wrong.
